For some reason, when I upgraded to SU 2017, although I purchased a pro version of shaderlight, my shaderlight does not have the ability to use the higher resolutions of the pro version. Only the trial version. Please advise

Hello Skip, Did you also install an upgrade from Shaderlight 2016 (or earlier) to Shaderlight 2017 when you upgraded your SketchUp? If you upgraded from an earlier version of Shaderlight without purchasing and activating an upgrade licence it will operate in the ‘free’ mode, which doesn’t provide the higher resolutions. If you need to purchase an upgrade, you can do so at our online store.
