Water & Bump not looking real

Hello Everyone,
I’m having difficulty creating realistic water (like what was shown on the YouTube video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_UZeoncEtM&feature=plcp about 30 minutes in).  My water looks more like a sketchup water material with a slight bump.  Blah.

1) Water on Left is Auto material at +1 bump
2) Water on Right is Transparent, Liquid at +1 bump

Question 1: what am I doing wrong that makes this look so poor compared to the video. (I’ve attached the sketchup file if you wish to download and give it a spin.)
Question 2: What settings does everyone use to create their water?

I use a different setup for my water, if its refractions your after then use transparent -> liquid. but to see the ripples i use shiny -> smooth1 (with a bump) and tweak the opacity in the sketch up material editor to give the translucency of water. You may also want to try using negative numbers for your bump, as negative numbers bumps white/lighter areas, and positive numbers bump darker/black areas.

Thanks for the reply Shaun.  I will give your advice a try.  It could also be that I don’t have the sun positioned properly either.
I’m really busy this week, but I will post up my results soon.  Thanks again!
