The Start Render (camera) button is used to start an image rendering in the Shaderlight Render Window.
Once the render has started, the real power of Shaderlight comes from its ability to make changes to the rendered image as you make changes in SketchUp.
You can set Shaderlight to ignore changes in SketchUp by changing to On Demand mode in the Update section of the Render Settings window. Your image will only update when you click the Start Render button.
Tip: If you close (or otherwise lose!) the Shaderlight toolbar, you can get it back via the SketchUp View menu. Just select View->Toolbars->Shaderlight |
