The reflection options provide advanced controls over the reflections on the coating layer. They can be used to achieve special effects and to optimize rendering times.

Reflection Falloff – World space distance for length of reflection rays. At this distance reflection rays fall off to either the Reflection Falloff Color  or to the environment color. If set to -1, reflection falloff is disabled. Any alteration to this value requires a retrace.
Falloff to Color – If enabled reflections will fade to Falloff Color. If it is not enabled, reflections will fade to the environment.
Falloff Color – Specifies the color of reflections that have exceeded the Reflection Falloff distance
Reflection Max Ray Depth – Material override for the global maximum ray depth of reflection rays, that is set in Shaderlight Exporter Options->Ray Depth.
Reflection Cutoff – If reflections from this material will contribute less than this value to the pixel color value in the final image, then Shaderlight will avoid tracing them, to render faster.
Number of Samples – The number of sample rays spawned by a glossy reflection. Low values will use less memory, and higher values will  show more noise in the reflections. A suggested range is from 8 to 32.
