Advanced Rendering Technology (ART) was selected for two prestigious awards at the AEC Systems 2001 event in Chicago, Illinois. The Cadence Show Stopper award and Cadalyst Best of Show award were bestowed on the company's RenderDrive RD5000 3D rendering appliance.
The Cadence magazine Show Stopper award cited RenderDrive's innovation, creativity, simplicity, and ease-of-use. Peter Sheerin, Technical Editor of Cadence Magazine, said "In our opinion, these products help move the CAD industry forward by introducing new capabilities to the market or bringing existing products to a new level of efficiency."
ART's RenderDrive RD5000 product was also selected for Cadalyst magazine's Best of Show award. "Cadalyst editors reviewed the many new and outstanding hardware, software, and online offerings on display at the show and bestowed just nine Best of Show awards on products destined to change the way designers and engineers work," said Cadalyst Editor Art Liddle. "ART stands for Advanced Rendering Technology and that sums up the new RenderDrive RD5000."
ART's products allow users to create highly-accurate images from 3D data. The quality of the images is so convincing that customers often use them instead of photographs, where it would be too costly or impossible to create them by conventional methods.
RenderDrive is a platform and application independent 3D rendering appliance. RenderDrive's state-of-the-art dedicated ray tracing processors allow architectural and industrial designers to bring an entirely new level of visualization to their work in the form of cinema-quality animation and virtual photography.
