The Board of ART VPS Ltd are pleased to announce that Gary Rinck has agreed to join them as a non-executive director.
Gary Rinck is the Group General Counsel at Pearson, the FTSE 100 media and publishing conglomerate where he leads a group of forty-five in-house lawyers, based in the US and UK. In addition to managing this function, Gary plays a lead role in Pearson’s Corporate Finance team, doing mergers and acquisitions. He supervises all significant litigation within the Group, as well as all company secretarial or corporate governance matters, including regulatory filings.
Before joining Pearson, Gary was a lawyer at the US-based law firm Morrison & Foerster. He joined “MoFo” in 1980 after studying history and economics at Yale and law at Harvard and Oxford. Gary became a partner at MoFo in San Francisco in 1984 and was based in Tokyo from 1986 to 1991. From 1991 until 2000, Gary was at MoFo’s London office, from 1995 as its Managing Partner.
During his time running the London office of MoFo, Gary advised many companies in his specialist area of intellectual property and licensing, including Xaar plc in Cambridge where he worked closely on many deals with Graham Wylie, the Chairman of ART VPS.

ART VPS Ltd, which specialises in the development of rendering products for the computer generated 3D imaging and graphics market, was formed in July 2002 to acquire the business of Advanced Rendering Technology Ltd from an Administrator. ART VPS is based on the Cambridge Science Park and is lead by Daniel Hall, the CEO.
