ART VPS Ltd and Leading Technology Micro Inc. (LTMicro) today announced that they have entered into an expanded distribution agreement for the sales and marketing of ART VPS visualization products in North America. The two companies have collaborated for some time in selling ART VPS’s PURE and RenderDrive products. This new deal means that LTMicro will act as master distributor for ART VPS’s products and will recruit, train and manage a network of 25 resellers across the USA and Canada.

PURE is ART VPS’s low-cost, small form-factor 3D visualization solution that brings the company’s award-winning 3D rendering technology to all visualization and animation professionals in the architectural, industrial design and animation industries. PURE renders images up to 16X faster than software-based ray tracing and can simultaneously deliver higher quality images through its silicon chip accelerated ray tracing architecture. Installed within a windows-compatible graphics workstation, PURE brings the power of a render farm onto a designer’s desktop.
RenderDrive is ART VPS’s 3D rendering appliance – a networked rendering server that offers the ultimate high quality 3D rendering performance. Pixel-compatible with the PURE product, RenderDrive is available in two configurations: the RD3500 and RD5000. The RenderDrive RD5000 system is up to 6X faster than the PURE card.
RenderDrive and PURE come with fully integrated plug-ins for Autodesk’s VIZ, Discreet’s 3dsmax and Alias|Wavefront’s Maya applications. In addition, PURE and RenderDrive support the RenderMan Language and can be used with any RenderMan compatible application.
