Advanced Rendering Technology (ART) today announced the release of its CAD|CAMERA software bundle to be included with RenderDrive®, the company's advanced 3D rendering system designed for users in the Industrial Design and Engineering market. This powerful new combination offers users of SolidWorks unmatched image quality, ease-of-use, and platform-independent operation.
CAD|CAMERA loads SolidWorks CAD data files via the OLE for Design and Modeling standard interface and provides a rich and extensible visualization environment allowing accurate materials, real-world lighting and camera attributes to be set up before rendering with RenderDrive.
"We are pleased to welcome Advanced Rendering Technology to the SolidWorks Partner Program," said Clive Sandhurst, manager, SolidWorks European Partner Program. "The ART rendering system delivers exceptional rendering quality and speed in today's market. SolidWorks customers looking to create highly realistic images of their SolidWorks models and assemblies should take a close look at the ART product."
"Bringing RenderDrive's versatility and stunning rendering capability to users of SolidWorks is a natural step for us," said Craig Wareham, ART's Marketing Manager. "SolidWorks is a popular and powerful application for mechanical design, and RenderDrive is unsurpassed in bringing together the ultra-realistic and the ultra-creative."
Renowned for its no-compromise approach to the highest visual quality, RenderDrive uses physically accurate rendering methods that allow designers, architects and animators to work intuitively with 3D models in a rendering universe adhering to the same rules that govern our own. Light sources, surfaces, reflections and refractions all behave naturalistically, making it easy to achieve outstanding images without the complicated workarounds and idiosyncrasies required by other rendering products.
