This example stresses the ray processing capabilities of the rendering tools. The hardware accelerated benefits of PURE and RenderDrive deliver a massive time-saving of over 25X.
The scene is a simple acrylic cube being backlit by an area lightsource. The Ray Depth is clamped in all three versions at 16 ray levels. PURE and RenderDrive can process up to 255 ray levels.

SSI makes lighting my scenes so much easier. Also, I can get by with about 1/2 of the lights because I don't have to manually "paint" the light in with additional fill lights. In addition the images are just great because of the fading quality. This IS virtual photography!!!
