 Activating the RLM License Server

In order to provide Shaderlight licenses to client computers, the RLM License Server must be activated.

 

•From the Start->All Programs menu select RLM->License Server->Configure RLM License Server.

•Enter your 20 digit License Activation Key that should have been provided by email. Enter the activation key with dashes.
•Click Write license file.
•A confirmation message will appear indicating successful activation.
•If activation is unsuccessful, recheck your information and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact

 

•Run the License Server by selecting RLM->License Server->RLM License Server from the Start->All Programs menu. You should see a Windows Command Prompt screen appear. If a message appears asking if you want to block the server, click Allow.

Note: To ensure that the RLM License Server starts every time the computer re-starts, it is necessary to add the RLM server as a Windows Service.

 

•In a web browser enter the URL http://localhost:5054 to launch the Reprise License Server Administration page

•Click Manage Windows Service

 

•Select INSTALL service from the menu

 

•All details should fill in by default

 

•Click Apply to install the service
